Carnivals

School carnivals are held in age divisions. The age a student turns that year indicates their age division. For example, if a student turns 10 on 31 December, the student participates in the 10 year's age division. The carnivals are school house events and support for the student's house is an important aspect of the carnival. House groups are: Waratah – Red, Wattle  - Yellow and Gum – Green.

Athletics Carnival

All students in the school participate in the athletics carnival. The carnival is organised in two sections:

Years K – 2 – held at school

Years 3 – 6 – held at Beaton Park Athletics Track

The focus of the Years K - 2 carnival is participation. Events have a novelty flavour. This carnival is held at school. Eight year old students from Year 2 are welcome to participate in the Year 3 - 6 carnival.

The Years 3 - 6 carnival includes track and field events.

The field events are held at school in the weeks leading up to the carnival. These events include: High jump, long jump, discus and shot-put.
