CHOIR

The choir has been a strong part of Mount St Thomas school for many years.

It incorporates children from Year 3 to Year 6.

Performances have been varied over the last five years.  We have sung at Westfield; performed in the Wollongong Entertainment Centre as part of a massed choir; entertained the school at special Education Week assemblies; sung at Presentation day; and been a part of the Southern Illawarra Music Festival.

Each year the choir has been a part of this Music festival and has performed individual items for the audience that have been of a very high standard.

We have also been to the Wollongong Mall to entertain the public during Education Week and at Christmas time.
Each year we make a particular commitment to entertain the people of the Unanderra Nursing Home. We visit them in December, along with the Dance Troupe, as a special treat for the elderly folk who are bed ridden or frail. 

Over the last few years we have been lucky enough to have some children with really delightful voices. These boys and girls have been asked to perform solo parts at the Music Festivals, and have done so with extreme aplomb.
