SCHOOL CAPTAINS The School Captains have a number of major responsibilities at Mount St Thomas. Their primary responsibility is to represent the student body and to chair weekly assemblies. They also chair the Student Representative Council meetings and assist the younger students in their role as councillors. There are two School Captains and two Vice-Captains elected each year from year 6. Towards the end of the year, year 5 students are given the opportunity to nominate for election as School Captains for the coming year. They are invited to address the students at assembly prior to the voting. |
