GOLD MORNING TEA

The Merit Award system rewards positive behaviour and application to school work.  Blue certificates are distributed by teachers for recognition of positive behaviour and these accumulate through a system of bronze, silver and gold certificates which are presented at weekly assemblies.  On attaining a Gold Merit Award, the pinnacle of the award system, children are invited that term to Morning Tea with the Principal in her office.  

Many children reach this stage and the Morning Tea day can be very busy for Mrs Buckley and her helpers.  Lots of yummy food is provided and the children look forward to taking part.
