ANZAC Assembly 2009

Anzac Day was on the Saturday before school resumed for Term 2.  Our school remembered the Anzac's in a special assembly help on the first day back for Term 2.  Children from the public speaking program ran the assembly.  Three senior children read their poems title "What Anzac Means to Me' and the choir sang a beautiful song called 'Always Remember'. During the assembly the speakers spoke about the significance of the Anzac biscuit and all the children in the school were given an Anzac biscuit to eat.

Following our school Anzac Assembly Mrs Buckley took our four school captains to the Wollongong Cenotaph to place the wreath there in remembrance of our war heroes.
