To conclude our Transition to School program a Smart Start Family BBQ was held on Friday, 28th November.  All the new Kindergarten children and their families braved the wet weather and enjoyed a sausage sizzle and a chat.  The children especially loved the great face painting and the visit to the school by Billy Backpack.  Billy was a great hit with all the new Kinders and his special song also ran out around the school.  It was a fun night thanks to a bunch of parents and older children who helped out and ran the show.  Thank you very much.  A big thank you also goes to Tracey for organising the event.  We couldn't do it without her!!
