SCHOOL COUNCIL

The inaugural school council was established in the second half of 1994.

The school council is responsible for overseeing the setting of goals and directions for the school in the future.

In particular, it oversees the development of the Management Plan and related surveys, the Annual School Report and Budget.

The School Council consists of three elected parents, three teachers, two community members, the Principal and the P & C President or representative.

The school community greatly appreciates the effort put in by these committee members and their interest and support of the school in this way.

Meetings are held every fourth Thursday of the month at 3.45pm in the staffroom.

Every two years the School Council conducts a Parent Survey to determine the  perceptions of our school and what improvements and initiatives the parents would like to see introduced for the benefit of their children.

The survey for 2004 was went home in June.

All  input is  valued and the School Council looks forward to considering  suggestions when formulating the next 2 year plan.
