In August 2005 the Minister announced a new way of reporting individual student performance to parents of primary school students. This is a result of the Commonwealth Government Legislation which applies to all states and territories. The Australian Government has made significant school funding dependent on all schools meeting the new reporting requirements. These reports were first issued at Mount St Thomas at the end of 2006.
