PARENT INFORMATION

Our school is most fortunate in having the support of active parent organisations, providing both financial support for equipment and resources and personnel support for activities in classrooms, in the canteen, on excursions and in the grounds.  All parents are invited to be involved.

The evening P & C meetings provide an opportunity to meet other parents, hear reports of school activities, to be involved in planning future activities and to hear speakers on educational issues.

The FUN-d-Raising Committee meets every month to plan the various activities which raise valuable funds to support the learning programs at Mount St Thomas.

The Canteen Committee meets regularly to plan for and maintain the health service for students and staff.

Nominations for these Organisations are called for annually.  Without the financial support provided by these organisations, the school would be somewhat limited in the educational programs available to children.

Children appreciate parental involvement and look forward to times when parents attend school functions such as the weekly Assembly, Book Week activities, Education Week programs, sports carnivals, excursions, etc. together with countless opportunities to be involved in the classroom activities.
