FUN-D-RAISING COMMITTEE

Welcome to the homepage of the FUN-d-raising committee, where our aim is to have FUN and raise funds.

The FUN-d-Raising committee is a group of dedicated parents, teachers and friends who provide the network of ideas to plan, produce and achieve major goals.

The Fund Raising committee is a sub-committee of the Mount St Thomas P & C Association and we are responsible for planning, organising and implementing a variety of FUN activities for everyone on our school and community to enjoy.

The money raised from these activities not only provided financial support for equipment and resources for our school, but enables many long term projects, such as the covered walkways, to be achieved.  Ot5hermajor projects such as the outdoor learning area and the community playground are all direct results of this FUN-d-Raising.

Our next major objective is to provide a permanent cover over the assembly area.  We are also aiming to provide shade cover for the playground and other major areas of the school where our children sit and play.  Over the coming years you will see many new ideas implemented into our FUN-d-Raising agenda.  For example, Movie nights for the family, school dances, car boot sales, fun runs, Trivia nights and mystery tours. 

The ever popular Mount ST Thomas School Fete/Festival will be held in Term 4 of 2005.

We would love to see some friendly faces at our Meetings, especially if you are new to our school community.  If you are able to assist in any way please join us at our meetings in the staffroom on the third Tuesday of every month at 7.30pm.  Everyone is welcome!

The latest venture of the Fun-d-raising committee is an Easter Raffle.  Many parents attended this meeting and helped create 80 Easter baskets prizes.  Have a look at the fun these parents had on Tuesday night.
