ASSEMBLIES

School assemblies are held in our beautiful outdoor assembly area.  Here, surrounded by the natural environment, awards are presented to recognise achievement in a variety of areas.
Class Merit Awards Recognition of class excellence
Bronze, Silver and Gold awards School positive reinforcement scheme
Reading Medallions Progression through Home Reading Scheme
Envirocheck Weekly environment recognition
Sport awards Carnival and District awards 
Others (as required) Recognition of excellence in many areas - dance, drama, art, choir, writing, debating, external competitions etc. 

  • Assemblies are held fortnightly on a Monday at 1.45pm.

  • Assemblies are chaired by the school captains and viced captains.

  • There are reports on various activities e.g. sport, dance, public speaking etc.

  • Awards / birthdays / new enrolments / leavers / items are all recognised.

  • Weather permitting, assemblies to be held in outside assembly area.

  • Assemblies are to be preceded by school pledge and concluded with the National Anthem.

  • In wet weather, awards will be presented to students in the classrooms on Thursday afternoon.

  • All parents are encouraged to attend.
